As I walk through the construction site of our newest Milestones Early Learning Center in Medina, I do not just see walls, classrooms, and playgrounds. I see children making their first friends, discovering new interests, building confidence, and creating memories that will last a lifetime.
After more than 23 years of owning and operating early learning centers in Minnesota, opening a new school never gets old. Each community is unique, and each school becomes a place where families come together and children begin their educational journey. We are especially excited to join Medina, a community known for strong family values, growth, and giving children a great start.
Milestones was founded on a simple belief: children deserve a safe, nurturing environment where they can learn, grow, and reach their full potential. While our industry has changed over the years, that belief has remained at the center of everything we do.
Our Medina location was designed with purpose. The school will serve children from six weeks through school age, providing continuity during some of the most important developmental years. With 10 classrooms, an indoor gym, three age-appropriate playgrounds, and a full onsite kitchen, every detail has been considered to support children’s growth and create an exceptional experience for families.
The indoor gym will give children space to move, play, and stay active throughout Minnesota’s changing seasons. Our playgrounds will offer fresh air, imagination, and physical development, while the onsite kitchen will help provide a consistent, welcoming mealtime experience each day.
What excites me most is not the building itself, but what will happen inside it. Every day, children will be encouraged to ask questions, solve problems, explore new ideas, and build meaningful relationships. Our teachers will guide children through play-based learning, hands-on discovery, and social development.
