We are excited to once again get together in 2021 during Medina’s amazing community celebrations, starting with the Hamel Rodeo Parade on July 11th, followed by Night to Unite on August 3rd, and ending the summer season with a bang at Medina Celebration Day on September 18th.
Hamel Rodeo Parade – the annual Hamel Lions Rodeo Parade will be held on Sunday, July 11th at 2pm. The Parade will take place in Uptown Hamel along main street Hamel Road. This traditional event has been one of the final events of the Hamel Rodeo weekend. Guaranteed fun for the family, grab your lawn chair and find a spot on the route and enjoy the parade!
Night to Unite – Neighborhoods throughout Medina are invited to join the Medina Police Department, along with thousands of communities nationwide, to participate in the Night to Unite celebration on Tuesday, August 3rd. Medina Police officers, firefighters and City Council members will stop by and participate in neighborhood parties throughout the city! These neighborhood parties provide an opportunity to get to know our neighbors, strengthen neighborhood spirit and police community relations. Schedule your party with the city by calling 763-473-9209.
Medina Celebration Day will be held on Saturday, September 18th from 4 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Hamel Legion Park, 3200 Mill Drive, Medina, MN 55340. All are invited to partake in the celebration! Come to enjoy delicious food from local restaurants, visit with local businesses and receive give-a-ways, shop, play bingo, and be amazed during the grand finale fireworks display at 8:00 p.m. Bring your kids or grandkids to get their faces’ painted, jump in the inflatable bounce house, touch city trucks and vehicles, ride the kiddie train, partake in kid games and more.
Because of our great event sponsors, civic groups, volunteers, and local businesses, these amazing community celebrations take place each year with no admission costs to allow individuals and families to connect and celebrate Medina!
