Due to the Minnesota Department of Health and the Centers for Disease Control mandates, assisted living and long term care facilities are limited to staff entering and leaving their buildings. Here Lynda Wachholz from Cornerstone Assisted Living & Memory Care shares how the community is responding.

Our residents are truly blessed and grateful for the outpouring of concern from all…but the past few days were “especially special!” We received a BOAT LOAD of tulips from our neighbor, Len Busch Roses – enough bouquets to brighten the day of all residents and staff.

On Sunday a resident’s granddaughter delivered ice cream from Honey & Mackie‘s to be shared with residents and staff (will be shared later this week!).

Today a team member bought pizza for the staff to enjoy from Andy’s Hometowne Pizza.

It is beyond heartwarming to experience how these gestures are received by our “family” at Cornerstone…and so very kind that our neighboring small businesses are being supported.

We feel the love!!
